na, nothing. They belong to some people a few miles up the road from me I think. We had the warden go out there but nothing came of it. I kinda understand because it's not like we caught them on the property or had any proof that those were the dogs. They had 3 registered but there were only 2 on the property so either one was already gone or I did kill one of them. There were only 2 here when the attack happened. My dog lived so I don't sweat it to much, bigger things in life to worry about. I just keep the gun handy so that if they ever do show back up I will definitely finish the job this time. Last time my deer slugs were in the camper so I threw in a couple 3" turkey loads. It knocked the one completely off his feet at about 30 yards. I hit him in the upper body about where his neck meets his chest so I'm sure he had a rough go of it if he did live. I would also imagine he's probably blind in one eye too from the scatter.

I wouldn't classify 3" 4 shot as necessarily bird shot. Sure a turkey is a bird but any other bird would just disintegrate with that load. It's a pretty potent load. I was really shocked that it didn't keep him down once it knocked him down.

yeah #4 isn't quite bird shot, but i'm really surprised it got up after a shoot at 30 yds, to bad you didn't have your slugs, he wouldn't have got up then
