the cowl induction hood from jegs doesnt look as tall as you think; the cowl is alot wider than the regular cowls.... its sort of looks like it should have came like that from the factory on a z28, but it is noticable.......

great thanks. i'm going to ask the seller if the fiber glass hoods have the same perfect fit as the carbon fiber hoods, cross my fingers.
BTW, any idea or guess how much it weighs? I figure a lot of the ads say 20-25 lbs for fiber glass. i would think the carbon would be lighter, but can't be that much lighter.

Stock hood was in the range of 80-90 pounds I believe.
The Carbon Fiber hood weighs less than 19 pounds.
My stock hood struts LAUNCH my hood up, lol.

for the record i can't get my wife to agree to a cowl hood, lol... she said if you are spending money then buy the cheapest SS hood and drive around in gel coat finish like all the other poor people, lol....
i'm still working the cowl hood angle. i'm just torn between the two. i like different, but cheap.
i was hoping some one would make a cowl hood without the chrysler concord wrinkles.
