I've seen that movie posted a few times on these movie forums...it's in a good quality divx format too. Might as well save some money and watch it for free on your puter. The links to all the sites are buried in a thread somewhere but movieforumz is a good one. http://www.movieforumz.com/index.php

Silver- At least its paid for.
How they shot it in first person view. It made me kinda sick at parts of the movie. The camera was moving so much. It is worth going to see it though.

Silver- 2000 Camaro SS
first person camera was an interesting idea but a bad one also... movie could have been so much better with real camera angles, they could have explained more at the end, the movie didnt have to end so abrubtly (sp?).

Red- 2001 Camaro SS
**POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT**
I liked the movie... I'm in the entertainment industry and this movie did what it was supposed to do..entertain you.
The cool thing about the movie is that you only know as much about what's going on as the people being attacked. They (the movie execs) were going for the fact that you're going to be as scared as the cast is (i would've personally shit myself if that was happening to me and my friends)....You're just tagging along on their one particular adventure.
A cool spin off would be to "find other footage" from other people who would've taped the monster attack.
I liked it, and i only wish the movie would've ended with "current footage" of the state of the New York. and the world.

If you enjoy your "cookie cutter" hollywood blockbuster with everything wrapped up ina neat little bowtie so you dont have to think for yourself, or possibly form your own conclusions, then Cloverfield is not for you. I went to see it last night after having read a little here and there on it for the last year (saw the teaser before Transformers on opening night) and was amazed. This movie is not even remotely conventional. That was what made it great. Don't get me wrong, I loved Transformers, and Live Free Or Die Hard, but not every movie has to have a happy ending, or even bother explaining itself to be great. I notice a lot of the people flaming this movie, are also the ones flaming I Am Legend. You flamed Legend for not answering all of your questions. Did you know how this movie was filmed before going to see it? Or do you just randomly pick movies to go see? The basic idea for this film was "monster attacks New York". The concept of doing it from the first person, with a handheld camera is what made it great. Blair Witch may have pissed people off, but you know you saw it (if you were old enough) and if you saw it in theaters, then you were one of millions who did. And when the shit started getting weird, you know you got scared. That is what made it great. The story has been done to death, it's the form it's told in that makes it great. Now think about weather or not you liked (if you even botherd to see) Blair Witch 2: Book of Shadows. That movie bombed like hell, and it was a conventional cookie cutter film. Wrap it up, bag it and call it a film. I thought Cloverfield was incredible. Looked very real, and even the monster footage was very tough to tell it was cgi.
Before taking someone else's opinion, wether it be mine saying the movie was amazing, or one of the few who are gonna say it sucked for this reason, or that one, go see it yourself.
One waring though, if you get motion sickness, take some dramamine.

i saw it last night, it was very short and i was a bit upset at the end due to the length and the ending, it was kinda a cliff hanger
there is deff room for a sequel, and i hope they talk more about the monster and the scenario after operation hammer drop
a lot of the scenes in the movie were a stretch and not realistic at all, but i guess thats just Hollywood
this movie left a lot to be desired and it is deff not worth the 10.50 to see it in the theaters, i would recommend renting it tho

There is a sequel coming out sometime, no one knows how its being filmed or what its about though. At the end of the credits of cloverfield theres like a roar sound, if you play the sound at the end of the credits backwards its a guy saying "It's Still alive"
