I don't know how many of you read it, but Hot Rod Magazine dropped an LS7 in a Solstice:

I never thought the day would come when i would say i would want to own a solstice, but that car if bad ass. Just think what it would run with a pair of slicks on their, they said it spun the tires through the first 3 gears on every pass. But what else would you expect from a car making 580 hp that only weighs 2,880 lbs.

as always, the comments are enjoyable to read:

The whole point of an evo is not to be fast, its to be fast and have fuckin handling capabilities, not to just go straight. Why would you go red neck on an evo???
    Just fucking retarded

    or

you just made that evo heavy as hell

    or my favorite:

Wheel spin is NOT impressive. Gay
I would drive it really I think its a compliment to the ls1 that all the ricers want one seems like its the choice transplant for way more projects than a cobra motor

    I REALLY want to get a 1994 RX-7.
If you go to sell the T/A, I have first dibs.
Can't believe you want one of those. The only import I would seriously sell my car in a heartbeat for is an M6 Gen IV Supra TT.

I knew you would say that

I figure a car that can handle up to 800+ horsepower on stock internals is shit hot to me.
