Agreed. He certainly wasn't the best I've seen. Being it looks like a small department, I'd bet he played the "favorite" game to get assigned to a Camaro.

His "chipped" comment really gave me a moment of pause about his ability.

Compared to a NC SHP trooper I know here who had one of the Camaros for several years, this deputy did indeed suck as a driver.

if i was a cop, and had a camaro cop car, i would do all the maintence and repairs to it myself, heck if the engine blew, id drop another in it just to keep it going. That would kick azz to be able to drive around all the time in a camaro.

Id also put softer seats in!!!!

Theres getting to be alot of chargers around......maybe the new camaro will be used for poice cars? kinda doubt it because im sure they like 4 doors.

The one thing that should absolutely happen in LE is the officer should be able to drive his/her assigned car very, very, well. Anyone in patrol spends a great deal of time in the car every work day. That kind of seat time leads you to understand the limits of the particular car and how far you can push them.

The video shows a cop who did not seem too familiar with his car.
