Is the ride stiffer...yes.
Do you need to be more cautious around steep driveways and speed bumps...yes.
But I'm completely satisfied with my Pro-kit. Sportlines would have been too low for me. Not just because the ride would be REALLY harsh, but I wanted to go with larger/wider tires, and with the Pro-kit, i have just enough clearance to not rub the fenders. I had to have the rear fenders rolled a little, but that's it.

A guy I know-has the pro-kit-said with 2 -12 packs of soda in his "trunk" the car is bottoming out on the way home from the store. That tells me all I need to know.

Blackety Black- 35th Anniversary SS
wow that sucks I never haul anything anyway and no one ever sits in the back seat of my car. I might as well take the seats out. Plus that weight of the soda is behind the rear axle so i can see how that makes a big differnce with small amounts of weight...

I never have any problems with the pro-kit bottoming out unless I try to go over a large speed bump too fast or go too fast down a really bad road.

in all honesty, eibach springs are crap for our cars. i had sportlines for about a month, loved the look, HATED the ride. the pro-kit tends to sag in the rear (just look at the pics posted, sorry guys :/ ) and really dont have good spring rates for anything useful...too stiff to drag race and too soft to auto-x or for the twisties.
if you want to handle better, look towards LG, Strano, or H&Rs..the hr's sag a tad in the rear too
i just ordered stranos and koni 4/4s and strano bars.
but regardless of what spring you go with, you need shocks to go with it too, the stock shocks are meant for stock springs only and cant even do a good job with that

I trimmed my bump stops down a bit and now I never bottom out. I just had a set of tires/wheels in my car and I didn't bottom out either. I think the ride is good. I'm planning on putting a little taller rear springs in just to be able to clear wider tires. I have 285's now with no issues, but want at least 315's on it. I bet the people with the really bad bottoming out issues have taller bump stops.

All I know is that I can go to the store, buy a sh*t-load of stuff (say for a BBQ), and I've NEVER had any issues with bottoming out. Sure, I've got a good set of Bilsteins on all 4 korners, but I think that's the key.
