Nice... just take the clutch out slowly until you learn the spot where it starts grabbin... and gas it just a touch.... then gradually do it faster and smoother...
that's the trick I used to driving my first Manual Car outside of my neiborhood... my dad's C5....6-speed... don't even have to gas it up half the time anymore...Torque just moves it on it's own

I teach people to drive sticks by starting out with out EVER touching the gas pedal. Any car, especially a car with so much torque, can take off with just the clutch engagement. So start from a complete stop, slowly.....SLOWLY.....come off the clutch. U can feel it start to grab. Do not come off the clutch all the way, it'll grab and start rolling.....once it starts moving come all the way off the clutch and the car will be rolling. Stop. Repeat. Stop. Repeat. Until u get your left leg perfect and feeling that "sweet" spot. Start doing the same thing for reverse. Stop. Repeat. Stop. Repeat.
After u can do that, start applying a little gas at that "sweet" spot and u can take off faster. But your left leg should be coming up at the same pace as before. Your RPM's shouldnt be rising much at all. You dont need much gas at all because as u saw before u dont even need gas to get the car to move.
I taught my sister this was in 30 minutes and she never ever drove a stick previous to that day. IMO dont listen to guys saying "give it more gas when its about to stall" because thats just stupid. Thats asking for a situation where u wont have control of the car. And if u cant even drive a stick, u sure as hell dont need a car with a stick with the rear wheels spinning and u pissing your pants. Instead, PUT THE CLUTCH IN. If it starts jerking. PUT THE CLUTCH IN. Chances are u went past that "sweet spot" too fast. Go slower so u gain more speed.
Take your time. My point of not using gas at first is that without the gas, u wont be raising the RPM's very much which means it will minimize clutch abuse. I've seen most "rookies" have the rpm's wayyyy too high trying to take off smoking the SHIT out of the clutch. So i say follow what i said, and u'll be golden.
