I have a DS loop on mine right now, mostly for precautionary reasons and it looks cool. I don't really have the HP to be snapping a DS currently.

I have a DS loop as well. If you do any track time, there are requirements depending on the 1/4 mile time. One is a DS loop, and some places don't care if you have a CF driveshaft or not. In MI, this one inspector tried to tell me I had a steel shaft just wrapped in CF. Some people...

ntimid8r... beauitfully clean ride! I'm amazed how new your undercarraige looks! Nice!

yeah you are right... maybe those rules that i said would apply better to an official certification... but i see your point... should have just told the jackass to knock on it... truth would come out pretty quick

funny you say that Y2K, everyones luck is different. A friend of mine broke his stock DS in his 02 WS6 M6 with a lid and cutout hitting 2.0X 60's.
And as far as CF, noone around here will run with one, too many people around here had problems with them coming apart or shattering.
I personally am in the process right now of installing a PST 3.5" aluminum DS that EPP guarantees to 1000HP and comes with a lifetime warranty. And only weighs 2 lbs more than stock. Figured it was worth trying.

Granted my stock 10 bolt gave way before the stock DS...lol. That there was my luck...hahahahaha.
