No it really wasn't anything to put on, it is a Silver Faced Reverse EL Glow Gauge that lights up blue at night or an Indiglo color. The only problem I had was that it doesn't stick to your old gauge, so when I put it all together it kept coming out just enough to disturb the needles causing the needles to not work, so I just put some very thin beads of Quicktite super glue on the back of the reverse glow gauge and it worked perfectly!
Here's a pic with it on at night

Yeah, I wanted something else other than the Pontiac Red lighting, and I saw how other people's cars turned out after doing this, so I just had to do it and I love it! I get compliments all the time from people who get in and see it.
Thanks for letting me know I did a good job! Sorry about the blurred pics, camera sucks ass!
If anybody wants to know where I got everything, pm me as the places I went through are not sponsored vendors for this site. I'll let you know!
Peace out

my 94 z has 103000 no problems with it still runs strong the only annoying thing about it is the shocks u can feel every bump on the street. my 91 z had 190000 when I sold it and still was running just fine as long as u take care of them.
