I'm in the same boat. I think I'm going to hold off until the beginning of the year and buy a set of 17" Fikse FM 5's.

I agree....they are everywhere !! I looked for months and months for rims. Trying to find something different than everyone else. I finally went with Foose Nitrous. I could not find a single pic of Foose Nitrous on an F-Body anywhere, so I just went for it. Plus all the guys on here said I would be the first one to do it. That's what I wanted to hear !!! I wanted something different from everyone else. Don't let any TOOLS in here talk you into something you don't really want !! It is your car.... personilize it the way you want.

P.S. - I'm not sure Foose will fit in the budget your talking about. I went over that $$$ amount you put down with buying the wheels and new tires.

You got till Spring so take your time and have fun looking. Just don't rush it. The most fun I had was looking for New Rims !!

Here is a link to my Garage on fquick.........have a look and let me know what you end up getting.

Love the wheels, makes your TA look mean and gives those ricers second thoughts about fart cannin' you. Not many of us F-Body owners with the Foose Nitrous series. I'm sure you get lots of complements on the street as I do. Foose rims are pricey, but worth every penny.

I went with the Nitrous II cause was concerned about keeping the rivets clean. Any probs there so far?

Thanks man !! Back at ya !! So far I haven't had any problems with keeping the rivits clean. I was unsure about getting rivits for this same reason, but I just went ahead and did it anyway. I did coat the rims with mothers the day after I got them and it really seems to help keep them clean.

Another funny thing is that I have owned my car for a lil over 6 years and no one ever said too much about it. I throw a set of rims on it and everyone says " oh, what a nice car ! Is it new or is it a 2007 ?? hahaha ( they know nothing about f-bodies They alway look surprised when I say it is a 98. This just proves what I always believe....... Rims make a car look completely different.

Catch ya later. And Drive your car proudly !!

    Agreed.
I am not a fan of wheels larger than 17" on the 4th gens. I prefer having some sidewall on my tires.

Here is my car on TTII's. 17x9.5 and 17x11

You could always do what I did. Widen the rear wheels along w/ installing new rubber.

How much did widening the wheels run you?
