the first thing I would do is take it out back and put a hoe across the back of it's head.
Not a snake person. Matter of fact I have a hatred for pretty much all reptiles going back to the dinosaurs.

you guys read that thing several months ago about the snake problem in the everglades? People dumping pet snakes in there and now they're becoming a top predator there. The pic was of a snake that ate an alligator and busted it's sides open.

If it's a myth then someone needs to email National Geographic and let them know.

we have snakes like that loose in florida but there just a little bigger, like 5 to 10 ft. it got so bad that now you need a special permit to own a snake or reptile .

it also says that its a doubtful theory and even the guys that came up with it are skeptical. however I can believe that with how tough the aligators whole structure is that if it got attacked and had to move quickly then he could have tried to bedn at a 90 degree angle and the gator didnt and ripped out of him. you have to remember that snake do not have a very sensitive nervous system and they do not know if they are doing themselves harm. that is a main reason that a heating rock is not recommended for use with a snake. if it gets to hot then the snake with not even notice til the scales on its belly are burn right to the rock
