I'm with you man. I see this shit happen all the time punk asses don't listen to anyone and run there mouths. We have them so up all the time behind our store and constanly have to tell them to leave because they destroy stuff and throw are property all around. Then when we tell them to leave they run there mouths. If all the other punks would have just shut the fuck up and had't pocked there nose in shit that was't there buisness all would't have been fine. I think they all got what they diserved but thats just me.

One day a buddy at work and one of my fellow managers went out to tell them to leave with there mother standing right out side. They were jumping off our loading dock with is a good 5 foot drop. So one of the punks decides to keep doing it and squeze inbetween my buddy and a stack of pallets. As the kid gets close he pushes a pallet jack in front of the kid he falls face first(luckly he caught himself with his hands) then my buddy pushed his board away. They all started fliping out saying they were gonna kick his ass and so was there dad. They all left but the next time time they showed up the cop were called and they were arrested.

you guys are idots saying they got what they desreve. the purpose of a police officer is to react to a situation in a professional manner and be better than those perpetrating the crime. what he did was EXTREMELY unprofessional and there's no way to deny that no matter what the kids were doing. citizens of this country have rights and officers are supposed to follow those rules to protect those rights no matter what the criminals are doing. its not the stupid cops job to dish out the punishment, especiually to little 13 year old kids who didn't even attack him. im happy that kid got away from that fat fuck.

    Ok, your tastless

Ok, I'm going to play devils avocate here.

Only because I remember being the motorcycle punk, and being harrased when I had done nothing wrong. To be fair though there were times I deserved the tickets I got.

The reason I say devils avocate is because the skateboard punks were out of line, just as the cop was.

Were the kids hurting anyone? No.
Yes they were breaking oridinance, but so do we everytime we step on the gas at all. Or do all of us drive like grandma? I suppose we would really like to be ruffed up a little next time we break an ordinace. I know I just love it when cops are over aggressive. It's always the highlight of my life.

I agree they should have not mouthed off. And yes skateboard punks are among the most irritating on earth. But, I grew up in a city with 12 public golf courses. But, No skateboard park, no off road area, no public ice rink, no nothing but fucking pubic golf courses. So where are they suppose to skate. I always thought the golf courses look like a great place to go off roading!!!

To be honest though the only place I ever go where kids are really respectful is church and, Judo and JuJitsu classes and tournaments. Ok, so it's because the guy that looks like your grandpa wearing the red an white belt can throw you and break your arm before you can say wait. No kidding.

To be honest, choking a girl thats a minor, sorry never should have happened, most cops don't know how to choke correctly or when to release the pressure. That's why they often choke people to death. A cop that is a fourth degree black belt in judo told us that in class at USJA headquarters.

I spent eight years in Judo and JuJitsu classes at Fort Leavenworth with my son, I've been choked, arm barred, thrown, and everything else you can think of. Often by Army rangers or someone in special forces. I served my country in JuJitsu class as a uki (dummy). I also hauled my son all over the country to play in national judo tournaments. Yes, you play Judo. It's not considered a fight but a game when its a tournament.

We traveled the country going to week long clinics and even instructors that are cops don't like to teach a choke techniques to another cop unless they are a regular in class. Most cops learn choking technics in a afternoon clinic. Not in a class they spent years in.

By the way, has anyone here been choked? When its done incorrectly it can be deadly. And there are a dozen choke techniques. Some cut off air, some cut off blood flow to the brain, some apply pressure to nerves and are effective within seconds. The last two types of techniques can cause permanent damage in a very short time.

My big question to you is how would you feel if that had been your kid? If limitations of what the average patrol officer may do are not placed, you may someday be able to answer that question.

Anyways no offence meant to anyone. Just playing devils avocate.

What these kids really deserve is a couple weeks stay in a juvinile boot camp. Not because they were breaking the law. But because of the way they acted towards the officer.

What the officer deserves is suspension for a month, counseling on how to control himself. He was the adult there! Training on how to call for backup! And a year in a Judo class, not some stupid afternoon clinic.

well, HI from KS, i will be going up there tmrw to go back home for a week...

Anyways, yes I have taken Judo and self defense courses, and know what/how it just takes a very little amount to actually subdue/incapaciate an individual...

To answer your question, "if those were my kids", here is my answer:

My kids would not be allowed to own a skateboard in the 1st place and that would have been raised in such a household where proper morals, values and respect towards others, esp law enforcement would be bestowed upon/in them. it's their lack of parenting and their choice to resist and interfere that got them in the situation they ended up in. i have no compassion, or tolerance for stupidity citizen or LEO alike, respectively...

I did not say that the officer should get off scott-free, but i think the kids and how they not only chose to act but to react to authority should hopefully get a nice punishment. Did the officer follow protocall by calling in back-up, i cannot comment about who, but being out numbered, he had to get the situation under control by means necessary...

I was pulled out of my car by gunpoint by the City of Manhattan Police, and laid out flat in the street in the middle of the afteroon because they 'felt' i was running from when I went to KSU for flee and elude in college. i went to court and got the charges dropped since my only witness, my passenger had no clue why we were even stopped in the first place. also, there was not Radar or Video of what the officers "FELT" was me running from them. imagine that. was i pissed, YOU BET YOU ASS. did i complain, or cuss out the officers, NO. I payed my bail and waited until my court date to represent myself.

Even more so was 3 months later when i got t-boned in my 95z28 that 2 of the officers that were there the day i was arrested were the same ones that showed up to the scene of my accident. did i say anything to them about their actions from 3 months prior, NO...

those kids made the choice to react and retaliate the way they did and they paid for it. shit like that makes people grow up quick. when you choose not to respect authority, it will/can come back to bite you in the ass hard...

that is such a crock of shit. people have no respect. i dont care if you dont like cops, you shut up and listen to them. they are in charge despite your own view on the situation. ive gotten screwed with but i try to put the officer at ease so they can stay calm. what would you do if someone made you question what they were going to pull next?

yes those kids may have been young but its widely known to skateboarders that no one likes them and its illegal for them to skate most anywhere. just punk kids biting off more than they can chew. you cant trust anyone nowadays not to stab or shoot you for no reason.

transworld skateboarding is a magazine? who let that happen?

Man i bet that kid that ran didn't know he just commited a felony...what a dumbshit.

Looking at it from the cops point of view he did what he felt was right at the time. Yes the kids were semi young but he was outnumbered and they all had potential deadly weapons in their hands(skateboards).

He followed the escalation of force...they weren't responding so he went from verbal to hands on. Sure there was many different and potentially better ways he could've handled the situation...but that doesn't make his actions wrong.

Like I said I was just playing devils advocate. I agree with you about the fact that it has a lot to do with a kids up bringing.

I always told my kids, if you get in trouble with the cops don't worry about what their going to do to you. Worry about what I'm going to do to you.

    So SSwt00SS,

I hope you enjoy your time here. If your going to be in Kansas City be sure to find Highway 5 in Leavenworth County. Its a blast to drive on. Just be careful the first trip on it

i can't believe the responses this thread is getting... granted there are no punk skateboarders where i live like im sure there are around a lot of you, but what do you people have against skateboarders.. kids will be kids im sure its not like all of you have been model citizens all your life and always followed the rules and never disrespected an authority figure. i am in no way condoning what they were doing, but the fact of the matter is the cop did not act appropriately to the situation and he SHOULD be repremanded. you cant make stupid statemtns like "they got whatg they desreve" because its not the fucking cops decision to decide what they deserve. it's his job to uphold the law to the best of his ability while remaining within the confines of the law and not overstepping his boundaries. if things are getting out of hand he should call for backup and not true to subdue the situation by choking kids jsut because he is 4 times their size. he is an idiot and an example of what is wrong with a lot of cops in this country.
besides what wouyld you guys rather have young kids doing getting involved in gangs and commiting crimes? im sure a lot of skateboarding kids are bad seeds and they will eventually turn out to losers and deadbeats, but the vast majority will outgrow this phase and become normal citizens...heck some might even wind up making more money than a lot of us could ever imagine
