    2000 Camaro SS
    1969 Z28 JL8 crossram, #'

I drive my 2000 SS every day. I also tow my 15' boat with it. I hit the same point in Dec when it was time to sell my old 4Runner. I decided I wanted to drive a 4th gen LS1 Camaro as my dd and got lucky and found this SS 25 minutes away for a great price. The only comment I would have is that the SS is definitely stiffer than the Z28 so if that bothers you then you might want to consider the Z28 instead. The only other issue I have is how low the car is and how low you sit, sometimes it can be tough to get out of it(especially if you're 40+ year old). I still like this picture.

Jeff, that's awesome! I bet you get alot of looks while towing!

The car certainly has the power, but any problems with traction on boat ramps? How about in the winter? Do you throw a set of snow tires on it?

Great looking SS, btw. I really like the anniversary edition.

I had a little trouble when there was 5" of wet mud on the ramp but if the ramp is clean it's no big deal. I got caught driving home in about 4" of sleet this past winter and the car actually had no problems at all. In fact, I had to slow down for fwd cars that were only going 15 mph.
