It had a factory 4 speed with the bench seat ..The guy was the original owner with 70k on the clock .. Him and his buddy just rebuilt the engine and put it in last week... they were very knoledgeable of the 67 and talked as if it was no big deal ...lol

i love those either an 86 or 87 only 200 made each year, for nascar. 2+2 love them
this is an 86 only 200 produced in 86. they all came the same way.
then in 87 they released 5868. i have the 87 all options except power seats which i have yet to see. but it was an option.

That is not a factory hood. It is a 65-67 GTO hood that has been cut and had two scoops added to it. That is a nice job, but not factory. The factory hood had only one of those scoops in the center. And the spoiler was not factory. Spoilers were not an option until 68. They did a good job, but neither of those were factory or correct. And that 428 is not a factory eng either. It was probably a 400 that was stroked, but no factory 428's.

sorry D .. 428 is a very factory engine I had one .. They came in firebirds and the Tempest Customers .. I googled it and found a few more of them .. I never did see another hood like that , but the owner assured me it was original ..
