Well too make a long story short........i smoked his a$$ by at least 4 car lengths......he got me from the go because I spun tires........but he wasn't too pleased.........and yes he did say well it is only a 4 cylinder!!!!! Thanks for all that helped out!!!

My buddys got one with a few mods, nothing big. Their front wheel drive and have alot of wheelhop stock. Just get a good jump and you should have no problem. My buddy still cant get into the 13's without slicks. Internals are supposed to be able to handle 500hp, so they can be dangerous if the boost is over their stock 14-15 Lbs......it is a Mopar!

True enough.

In reality, it's more like: There are more LS1 powered cars on the road. The majority of SRT-4's have mods. In this case, if the guy has a BOV...that isn't saying much. The most common (first) mod is the Mopar BOV (aka the "rice plate"). It does absolutely nothing but generate sound.

To the OP: You have some decent mods. My advice would be to take it to the track and have some fun. Stock for stock, you have the advantage from a dig or a roll (moreso from a dig, of course). Modded for modded, it really all depends. Both engines take to mods well. Just know, it only takes about 1,200 (brand new parts, mind you..much cheaper for used) to get an SRT-4 to 300whp...and the majority of that is for the TBE.

Unfortunately, the average SRT-4 driver is a pimpled face High School douche. Like DSMs, they're obsessed with more power and going fast. They care very little for WHY or HOW when it comes to mods, and therefore, like to run their mouths and break their cars (or drive then into trees and poles at high rates of speed).

C/N: Take it to the track and have fun.

Edit: To clarify my DSM comment, I'm speaking to the bad reputation DSMs have with breaking. As older cars, they certainly have the propensity to break..and often. But most of the guys who took the time to replace and rebuild from the ground up (as well as maintain) had and have very little issue. It's the ones that think a 6k dump is the best way to launch on a stock transfer case and clutch (on a 10+ year old car) or fail to pay attention to their timing belt, etc.

Good job man, just keep him disappointed....its almost like reverse motivation in a way...everybody needs to get owned once and a while. Its keeps everybody modding their cars in hopes to eventually never get beat, but keep in mind....There's always someone quicker!!! Good Race...
