i think i will just stick with the way i shift right now. i am actually a pretty quick shifter, its just my launching that sucks, but it will get there. i wonder if that guy in the mach will romp me again. haha

Well, look at it this way, this summer we should be puttin' it down at Rockingham Dragway with a few grudge matches.

yes and no.. The supercharger was on, now its out of the car, but then again the motor is too. I am putting a forged bottom end in. Boring the block .020 over, -17 cc dish pistons(8.5 cr). Might do some cams as well. This way i can run about 18 lbs of boost on pump gas. I am shooting for something north of 600 rwhp. Plus the shop doing my car said if i get outrun i will still have some room to spray it!!!
BTW i am going with the 8 rib pulley setup so i wont have any belt slip. I cant wait to get her back. When are you going to go to the rock? I would love to meet you up there. My friend with the z06 is selling it to get a 2000ish c5. There is no point in paying all that money for a z06 if you are replacing everything..

I would have thought his best bet would have been to grab a 99 FRC.

600 rwhp! That is insane! I would have to spray its guts out to be competitive.

i dont know how long my tranny will last though. when i get it dynoed i will record it and put it on streetfire.
