Sebring Silver- 98 Z-28 camaro
Does the frame look twisted? The car doesn't look too bad but I did the exact same thing in my 98 WS6 Convertable I had before the Z-28. The rear broke loose sending me around twice then head on into a ditch doing about 55 mph. It warped the frame, busted the oil pan, ripped the exhaust out from under the car and pushed the whole front end into the door. I was sick for months, still am. Sorry to hear about that man, hopefully you can get another one and have better luck. So far mine has been, knock on wood.

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
looking at the bottom 2nd to last pic...you can see the frame is bent up. Looking at the engine pic, you can see that the front compressed and moved toward the driver's side. It might be repairable...won't know until next week.
I'm goin to avoid insurance for a few days b/c my body guy will be able to figure if it will total or not. If he says it's totalled, i'll basically put the car up for best price i can get and whoever wants it can have it and part it out or do what they want.
I really hope the aftermarket stuff isn't destroyed...fucking konis are $875 now!

just by seeing the pictures it looks like the car can be saved, as long as the frame isnt bent, i'd try to save her.

I see that now, damn, at least your allright. That's all that matters, just take your mods off and buy another one. I screwed up and waited too long before grabbing my parts off of mine and they sent it on to the auction. I was sooo Pissed after losing all that money in parts while getting nothing back from the insurance company. Good luck to you!

same thing happened to me last year. a deer was standing on the side of the road about to come out. i turned into the other lane and my rear tires broke loose. it sent me in a 180 but luckily i stopped on the shoulder on the other side of the road.
fixing this one or buying a new one?

nope, cops were real cool. No warning, no repremanding. they just took my info, took my statement, took the lady's statement as a witness and then told me I could pick up an accident report on monday morning. i was surprized no ticket...damn rubber tracks were all over the road
