you guys now know how much I like my SS and the stuff I've got, I can basically work 2days a week and make it with a little help from family. the job does suck though. I have having to get up early to listen to what people want all day then they get smart like I give a fuck about their chicken and dumplings, I really don't care unless their sincerely polite and I'll be the same way but some people act a fool and I could care less if somethings wrong. By the way you guys should always be nice to your server when you go out to eat. I never would mess with anyones food butdon't give other people in the position a reason to.

Short order chef on Cape Cod back in the early 1980s.... Potatoes had to be peeled and boiled, onions sliced and dices, bacon and sausage browned, eggs and batter readied and mixed up... The joint opened at 5:00am for "locals" and the owner of the establishment had a bad habit of shortchanging me on cash (under the table work), and was loud and picky about what I did.
I had just finished three years of working under a very experienced chef at a resort in Wisconsin (during college) and already knew how to plan, order, prepare, cook, and clean up a kitchen professionally. This new boss of mine however ha the attitude that if I got the grill hot enough it would kill enough of the germs so the people would live to come back the next day.
I only lasted a couple of months.2002 Street ET Champion New England Dragway

Imoala Red II- 2025 M8 GranCoupe Comp
Receptionist at a hair salon. I liked getting free cuts, dyes, styles etc, but dealing with the old women in that place was not pleasant.
I always came home covered in other people's hair whether I wore a smock or not. Let's just say hair gets EVERYWHERE. I had to wash hair sometimes YUCK! So many people have dandruff, scoriosis (sp?) and other scalp problems. I'd rather waitress and deal with half eaten food and drinks anyday then do that again

Vet tech. Pets are really nasty at times. Parasites alone made me hate the job.

when i was like 16 i sold ice cream cones out of this big ass ice cream cone shaped cubicle thing, kinda like something youd see in a fair. Nobody told me how to get the ice cream to pile up in the cone all nice looking so i just held the cone about a foot under the dispenser and let it drop. not a single satisfied customer

dude, I have to agree with you. i never did it, but I saw what you guys go through. we had a fridge delivered to us, 3rd floor, very narrow stairways so they had to take the door off teh fridge. then when they put the door on, they damaged it, so it didnt seal properly. I refused to make the monthly payments for it because of that. then this big guy came to my door and tried to intimidate me about it. I felt bad for all the hard work they did to get it in so I bought it on my credit card (I was going to file bankruptcy anyway so what the hell). BUt as I look back at it, I kick myself for letting this guy come to my door and intimidate me like that. but yes indeed, those guys have a crappy job. THis is in a town with a lot of peurto ricans and blacks, so there are a lot of deadbeats. must be a pretty bad job

your post made me laugh. you jsut said you're black, so other people can't say it? you people don't intimidate me with your fake accusations. you breed like rabbits, you've taken over, and ruined, most major US cities. look what happened after you guys ruined New Orleans by voting for that idiot who didnt use the money to fix the levies, you guys left and property prices ran up, while basements still had water in them. so you can just suck my dick negro.

yeah you got me wondering too, upper cape or lower cape?
i used to work at a restaurant around here too. it wasnt a bad job really but I always tried staying in the back and the owner always wanted me to cover everything, front and back, so it just didnt work out. i couldnt stand all the asshole new yorkers that come to the cape, atleast not in a professional manner, they'd give me shit and id throw right back at em.
