I don't remember that either, but that was also more than 20 years ago. It was a different time then. Kids were still touched, but now it's a lot more common. It's actually quite sad to me that this even has to come up in school now.

well the real reason it has to come up in school now, is because mroe and more parents are becoming lazy with the way they raise their children. they expect the school to teach them life lessons.... when my parents raised me, they were the ones that taught me all the important life lessons, about how to treat others, basic morals, etc. and let the school teach me the academic stuff. (although my parents did alot of that too)

im not saying that all parents are bad now... ive just noticed lots of parents that dont bother teaching their kids the important stuff, sending them off to school, and letting the teachers deal with it... im a lil hopped up on painkillers so im not sure if that all made sense, and i had more to say... whatever.

I think kindergarten is too young to introduce kids to that shit. At that age I believe the parents should decide how and when they want to approach the subject.

    My life is a
    Ben Stiller movie.

the grandpa one is cropped to short. should show more leg...i think a student would have to react to the expression on the little girls face; where as, maybe the artist should have shown more of a "hand on the knee" kind of thing.

My girlfriend is a mental health counselor at an elementary school and this is the type of stuff that she does with the kids, among other things.

I agree that in a perfect world parents would take responsibility for these lessons, but in reality I'm ok with the school taking some responsibility because of the parents that not only refuse to teach these lessons but are in violation themselves.
