Well apparently you have been neglecting to read what I have written! like I said Im looking to BUILD A CAR TO RUN LOW 10'S AND YES THAT MOTOR WOULD BE CUTTING IT CLOSE FOR 10'S OR 11'S with the right gears! I have this motor already built!! im looking to build a whole new one with ws6, the motor was originally built for a 1966 GTO! IM LOOKING TO BUY A WS6 TA TO BUILD UP FOR STREET AND STRIP! I was just expressing my opinion of the rotors to you! Its quite simple every builds their motor different way! what good would a group of people be with the EXACT same car and motor built the EXACT same way!! This will be my first ws.6 so I was just looking for pointers to build a nice little street and strip car without a bunch of head work and stuff! Like I said im sure you guys know alot more about the ws.6 than I do! thing Is I will learn as I go! I learn quickly!

Yeh she looks good, I let her go for 6500 it had 100k miles on it, but its still running excellent! decent power for a 6 tho! I didnt want to butcher it up by putting a new motor in it! I decided it was best to get another car and start from scratch!
I have a friend that has a firehawk, LS1 in it, with a pretty good lift cam, runs real nice! Is your car stalk? What kinda time will it do? just curious on how well they run stalk.

My car is stock except for an slp loudmouth, a srut tower brace and sub frame connectors. I have a few more small things to add but nothing special. I haven't run it at the track yet but plan to this spring. Those 3.8 liters are bullit proof and are quick for 6 cylinders. I have 3 friends with grand prix gts and they are great all around cars.

The low coolant sensors in the '98s are known to go bad. Mine did and I just disconnected it to eliminate the annoying dash light (it's on the passenger side radiator tank, about 1/3 of the way down). Sounds like you do need a flush/fill anyway, might consider replacing the sensor while your at it.
On the rotors, my T/A's are still good. But on my R/T the stock rotors started that same shudder at like 26K miles. Replaced them w/ Power-Slots at the advice of fellow R/T owners. They lasted only about 19K miles before they did the same thing. Took them off and found them highly corroded. So I took the original rotors that I had saved, had them turned and it's been cool since then (only ~5K miles so far). So my advice is to steer clear of Power-Slots. I'm sure there are better aftermarket rotors available.

FYI, a higher numerical ratio is better for acceleration. A lower ratio is good for nothing except MPG. About the only way you'll get into the 10s w/ a 2.73s is with diesel-like torque, which is not the LS1's forte'.
I believe you meant to say master cylinder, because if you can replace the slave cylinder in a 1/2 hour, PLEASE come work on my car!
PS: Don't let the guys discourage you. I hope my daughter is as much of a gearhead as you are when she reaches your age.
