The other day I was watching The Simpsons, and one hispanic character calls Bart a "cracker". This is perfectly fine aparently. But, saying nigger is just shocking and unacceptable. Its a really fucked up double standard.

same here. I'm pissed the idiots back then decided to free the slaves. Should have sent them back to Africa instead.

Come to think of it black people should thank us for the period of slavery in that US because if the Europeans didn't bring them to America, they would still be slaves in Africa right now.

well, I got to say I agree with you. they've ruined every major city in the country. and we have to bend over backwards and take it with a big smile or be called "Racist". personally, i found nothing wrong w/what he said. freedom of speech and a lovely double standard. perhaps if the audience had some respect for a performer this incident never would have happened. they deserved what they got called. after all the best card in the deck is the 'race' card...

also, african americans who continue to blame whites for the past about slavery (even now to the point it never affected them personally or directly), seem to forget that not all white people thought and felt slavery was right. Infact, I can recall a war that took place as a result of whites in the north fighting over whites in the south to end slavery. what was it, oh yeah, the CIVIL WAR. them seem to forget that part and would rather relish and focus on the bad that whites did to the slaves instead of the good that came about of a population of white people helping to free them, and give them land here in America...
