$200 in one single ticket from college, need legal advice

Damn your school charges a lot. The most expensive violation at my school is $50, and that's for parking on a sidewalk or other non-designated parking areas.

huh?? yes they did write down the last 4 digits of my VIN, but I have not heard from them since the ticket on my car.

That sucks!! Dam school cops! I got one last month for not having my parking sticker on my back window, I had it sitting on the dash & I got a $25 ticket. Then last week at school there wasn't any parking, b/c of a new building they are building so I parked right next to a car at the VERY end of the lot, but wasn't marked & that car had a $35 ticket for parking in a incorrect parking space!! WTF!!! I about died I just didn't want the car getting all dented up, so then I moved it to avoid a ticket & had to park by people then

I got a parking ticket back in February. I had 8:00 class, so I came early. They DID NOT plow the parking lot of the snow, so I just parked next to someone that was already there. A few hours later the snow melted, and my car and four other cars that parked around me all got tickets for parking outside of the lines [I took up two space, w00t]. You would think after seeing four cars not parked right next to each other you might get a clue. I got it appealed though.

i got a $75 fine for doing the same thing at college in MN. i know it was the campus cops.. ie students with a chip on their shoulder. i have yet to pay it to this day and that was 6 years ago. i wasn't suppose to be able to graduate from college either if i had unpaid tickets.

no cop problems so far. none has showed up at my door and my car hasn't been towed. i'm switching my license over to my current state this week and modding up again so no worries. i'd like to thank all the illiterate police out there that doesn't know the difference between a 2 and Z
