Anybody gotten Lasik surgery?

i have also been thinking about it. for those that have done it. is there any pain? recovery time?

I doubt there is much pain. I had some metal fragments dug out of my eye last year and i didn't feel anything when he was doing it or after he was done. I can't imagine lasik being worse than someone digging into you eye with a knife.

Is it true that if you do wear contacts, you can't wear them for a few weeks prior to surgery? I thought I heard that somewhere a few years back. I need to wear my contacts for work.
