It came from Stafford, TX.
When I removed the rear seat cushions, there was no rust under the carpet. I will have a good look again. I don't think it is a flood victim, but it wouldn't hurt to check.Last edited by Tataocb; 03-22-2016 at 11:07 AM.

Didn't Houston have a flood in the last 2 yrs?
I'm still trying to figure out how that section rusted out. I've never seen that happen on one of our cars, it is a first for me.

I've been living here for almost 2 years now. When we get a lot of rain, some streets flood, some cars get trapped, but I don't think there has been any massive flooding of the city. I always thought that rust was caused by some sort of leak in the T top. Possibly water accumulating there and not draining properly.
Water is getting into the car, because when it rained, I had to go in and use a sponge/towel in the floor pan behind the passenger seat, which is where water accumulated. After discovering those rust holes, I am not surprised that happened. One of these days I will take a hose and place it on top of the car with running water and see if water still gets in.
