I received my first edition of Hot Rod instead of High Performance Pontiac. No articles at all about Pontiac and only two pictures of Pontiacs in the entire magazine!

I feel like sending a letter telling them that unless more Pontiacs get some loving no need to send a renewal.

You should all send them letters stating that you want your subscriptions prorated and that you want the balance for the difference given back. If you subscribed to one thing and they send you something else, of their choosing, you shouldn't have to pay for it.

^^ Exactly my thoughts, only I was going to drop the issue of Super Chevy through my office shredder and return it to them. GMHTP was the perfect magazine and really covered the stuff that I was interested in.

Yep. I don't like the content of my new "subscription" and will cancel shortly. I want a refund on my 3+ year renewal to HPPontiac. I do not want this new mag in my mailbox. I wish someone could carry on the HP Pontiac mag, there must be $$$ to be made with a 20k subscription base. (FYI, that's just my un-informed guess as I write this.)

If you look inside an old copy they list how many copies they print and how many subscribers.

On Friday, another issue of "Super Chevy" showed up in my mailbox. Yesterday, the refund check for the balance of my subscription arrived.

I was a bit surprised too, but a subscription is just a contract and there is no question that they broke their end of the deal when they cancelled GMHTP.
