Me: dude chrome rims and painted calipers doesnt give you the room to claim your car performance modified. ive got a jasper class 1 trans, K&N intake, TB coolant bypass, i-Rotors drilled/slotted/zinc coated rotors with Axxis Metal Masters, and a magnaflow. this isnt a huge list, but im sure its better than yours. As for your "no handling concern" maybe it doesnt handle turns like an STi or EVO, but the stiff suspension and aluminum block makes up for it. And where u getting these compliments from Camaros, the V6 10 year old camaro essay rios crew? just a thought, admit your a dumbass or be in denial.

Yea, my parents helped me out. My father gave me $5000 toward a car cuz he gave my bro $5000 when he smashed into a tree after losing control with his Firebird. My grandfather, $2000. I was promised this a year b4 I bought the Z, and I was originally going to settle for an Eclipse for affordability. Because I wanted an F-body so bad, I spent 8 months straight banking every penny from a job I got for the car and insurance. Had I been a freeloader I would've gotten a GTO, newer SS, or vette and not pay a dime for it. I take care of my own insurance under my own policy from day 1, and thats more than most people my age can say.

This isn't a battle over "my cars more expensive, hense its better" deal. I respect other cars and shit too, but this isn't an import/domestic mudslinging either. Did you ever realize that 95% of modified Civics attempt to imitate the 5% that are fast? In this case, he's imitating those who can actually perform a real burnout. It ruins the sport of sport cars in general. Had it never been for those 10 second Civics, the 17 second ones with a raspy exhaust and stickers wouldn't have a foot to stand on that what they did to their car eminates a sense of speed.

I never intended to be seen as a "Volvo hater", but this guy is trying to prove that his car is better in a sense of everything else other than speed now. Don't you think its retarted when people with these cars go "look at me look at me, my car is fast" and yet when they are told it isn't fast, they switch up the argument? They go to attacking reliability issues, handling, style, ect. cuz they know inside their car is nothing fast in comparison and they still want a fight. I've NEVER lost a race to an import so far, yes there are fast ones out there, but it appears the 95% of them blur the picture of fast for everybody else.

I HATE it when run into people like this that would use every argument in the book and start fighting over other things rather than respecting someone's opinion. Maybe I said it too harsh, but all I said was if your going to show off your car, don't use tricks like a wet burnout! It's just as bad as fake VTECs, NOS stickers, EVO badges on a stock Lancer, ect. Wow, you really took alot of offense to that, I thought you were joking and I was going right along with it. My husband started the whole "my SS" thing. We were down the beach and a guy came up to us and told my old man how much he liked his car, my old mans reply was "It's her car." What we have, we've accomplished together and I don't take offense when someone says something about HIS 71 Camaro, Nova, or Truck. The SS is my daily driver/toy and he has his daily driver and toys. Last time I looked, the checkbook was in both our names.
