I know. In my case, my car never leaves my sight. I don't take it public places and park it without me being right next to it or close where I can see it (drag strip, car shows, and other car events). If the girl or whoever is in it wants to stop and get something to eat, go to Walmart, wherever....while we are cruising....guess what? We go home, park it in the garage, and use one of the other 2 cars I own.

This is why my car is still in mint condition 11 years later after owning it. If she complains and starts to whine, tough shit. Not chancing some retard dinging a door or doing something else to it. I have way too much money and time into it.
