Sure are alot of skeptics around here

Simple way to solve it. 2 of you guys are less than 2 hours away. If it were me I would have called and jumped in the car and went. Meet in person and seal the deal in person, that way no one gets scammed on anything. More than likely you could have made the drive before other people even returned a phone call.

I tried to do that and was ready to do that but when I asked for a number so I could drive down I was told there was a deposit on the car and wasn't given a number.

Probably so then. Good deals usually go quickly. It's one of those "right place right time" kind of things. If it were a different color I would have thought about making the trip from AZ

Probably wouldn't have said that if you were further away. I'd call vette doctors and check with them about the deal. Could be real, sounds fishy though.
