Lifelong Chiefs fan here...yeah it's a miracle I haven't killed myself. I lived in KC as a kid, so I became a Chiefs fan, moved to Denver, lived there 12 years, got 12 years of shit for it, but I didn't care. I'd go to Mile High decked out in face paint and jerseys and whatnot, sometimes we won, sometimes we lost, but it was always fun. Oh I used to make the trek out to Arrowhead every year for the Broncos/Chiefs game too.

Got a new coach this year...lost a few players, haven't picked up anyone worth mentioning yet...

I don't see them doing all that hot next year. They were 10-6 last year, but didn't get in the playoffs. I figure they'll be lucky to be 10-6 again this year, but they do have a much easier schedule this coming season.

Any other Chiefs fans on the board?

I have always liked the Chiefs,and want them to do well. I have always hated the way they just sink away when it comes playoff time. Home Herm can get things straight,,,,,,,

Yeah they have a history of 13-3 seasons, getting the first round bye, and getting beat at home. I don't know what their deal is. They just can't seem to finish. They haven't won a Championship since 1969, talk about a dry spell!

I think Herm will be a big help. Dick was a "nice" guy, but I don't think he was the right coach to get KC a championship.

Just need a good receiver, maybe a new corner or safety, and I think we'll be solid.
