Overall, I like my car. That's why I still have it. If I "hated" it enough, I'd have gotten rid of it already. And, honestly, there's only one other car that I'd be willing to trade my car in for.
But there are definitely those things that I REALLY wish I could fix or change about my car. One thing that really annoys me is that the slower I try to drive, the harder my car is to drive "casually." The clutch is very particular on my car... and it gets annoying in traffic or parking lots etc.

Hate is indeed a strong word to use. Perhaps it's not the correct "term", but I think the point is that we all have similar dislikes or things we wish would could change about our cars.

I could do 90ish in 2nd with my 2.73s, man did those suck...

After I posted, I assumed that was probably the gear that was able to accomplish that. I have 4.11 gears now, so I don't hit too high of speeds in 2nd anymore.

Light Pewter- 2002 Camaro SS
Only had it now a few weeks.
Hate, the truck like feel when driving under 30 MPH.
Side windows a tad to high, but not as bad as the new ones. I like to stick my arm out the window and sitting on the floor makes it tough.
With all newer cars I hate the same thing, urethane front ends chip way to easy.
Love, the car itself
The way it drives over 30 MPH
Never has a car that put power to the ground as well as this and I've spent alot of money trying.

I hate the frameless windows! They rattle to much if they are not all the way up or down. And they let water in.

Most likely due to the cheapness in build quality rather than the lack of a frame..
Can't say I remember the steel door of my third-gen's being so flimsy..
Which really is'nt saying much there eitherall most always had hinges/pins going bad..
Hell my 77 Gutlass was better than all 4 of my Camaro's combined and the doors were as heavy as a whole fourth gen too!..Last edited by Smittro; 07-09-2011 at 12:21 AM.

That's pretty typical of any frameless window. Us old folk refer to this as "hardtops" This design, no matter what the car will seep slightly, or rattle sometimes. My chevelle does it, my firebird does it, my blazer especially does it.
Usually it's a result of the weatherstripping and/or the felt cushions inside the door are worn slightly allowing movement. You can rebuild the doors with new parts and eliminate most (if not all) of those problems. It's just a product of aging.
Doors with window frames (us old folk refer to this as "sedans") Just don't have that issue.

I drive a convertible and have not noticed window rattling... just lucky, I guess? Not too bad for a 13-year old car.

Black- 2002 SS Camaro
I love:
The looks of the car. (looks much better then a 5th gen in my opinion)
The seating position
How all the girls I have dated are always in love with my car (especially the current one)
When I have the T-tops off I can hear my stock exhaust
Its my second and "last" car (hopefully)
Car pulls like a freight train for only 10,000 bucks (What I paid)
I still beat brand new muscle cars that just come off the lot.
Hate: (such a strong word- Ill say dislike)
My aftermarket seats (Getting new bomz racing seats christmas)
the seat belt positioning (Getting 5 point harness this christmas)
The gauges looking plain jane (getting a white face gauge and black bezzle for christmas)
The shifter is crappy looking (New shift boot plus shifter are on the way from afterthoughtautos)
Never fast enough for me (For 4th anniversary of having the car I will be rebuilding the whole drivetrane and getting a new transmission and head and cams)
*All in all I'm pretty much covered.
Only thing I truely hate are people always trying to race in broad daylight and wasting my gas and time. Wait for the track or saturday nights man2002 Camaro SS Black Betty
Suspension:
Poly Trans mount, Solid Motor mount, Strut tower Brace
Performance:
SLP intake, Smooth Bellow, A.I.R Delete, M/T's on Salad Shooters
Apperance:
