    so if I take off the air pump do i need to get a tune. and do i need to cap off anything or remvoe anything else?

    you dont have to tune the car for that (i think) but the engine light will come on so you need a tuner to turn it off...all you have to do is remove the hoses and pump... now that i rember you do have to block off the exhaust manifolds where the AIR SYSTEM hoses goes... just buy block off plates from that..you can find them on ebay
