I dont know what area you live in but I can easily go 15-20 mins without having to hit the brakes or slow down.

Ummm ok..... I live right outside of Atlanta and have to go downtown for class so it's stop and go most of the way. I usually take back roads around traffic now that I've learned the area.

Drive it normal and you should be ok. I wouldnt rev it or keep it floored and I wouldnt keep it at the same RPM all the time....which you wont anyway. Just drive it as a normal smart person would and then change the oil in 500 miles. Then hammer the piss out of it to make sure it stays together.

One of my friends who builds engines runs them like he builds them from the get go. He builds race engines and even his street engines he dumps in vehicls and makes sure everything is ok for a few miles and then runs it like he stole it. Has worked thus far but I know of one engine that ended up with a broken ring.
