Silver- 2005 Toyota Corolla (DD)
I was looking at Craigslist-ATL this weekend for Dyson vacs. Seems like you can get a N.I.B. (but 'used' since you're not the first purchaser) one for a significant savings.

I don't know I was told by a door to door kirby salesman that "unless you use a kirby all your doing is fluffing the carpet with a regular vacuum. You might as well just use a broom to sweep/fluff the carpet" I LOL when he said that.

Home Depot had the dysons on sale far cheaper than Bed Bath & Beyond at Christmas time. Got my mom the DC25 for $349 shipped to my door.

There may be. I've never had one and I've had many
I can tell you from personal experience, the Dyson Animal does a fantastic job on pet hair and all my critters keep it busy. I'm allergic to dogs and cats. But, the last few years, you'd never know it. The only thing that's changed is my vacuum
Marketing doesn't affect me one way or the other.

Like I said, I've tried many diff vacuum's and by far the best that has worked for me is Dyson. I could careless about marketing, I got mine after hearing about a couple relatives having them and loving it. Going from my elecrolux to my Dyson Animal was a night and day difference.

Best portable vacumes are canister type imho..
Where the power head is seperate from the actual vacume pump..
I prefer bag type..
Best upright imho is a Kirby (commercial) with power asist and a bag..

we got our dyson not because of marketing but because of word of mouth. Everyone that has one loves it. Like I said, ours works. If I had my choice I'd just use my shop vac on everything....that thing will suck up pretty much anything that isn't attached to the floor.

Would you rather buy a vacuum from this guy?

Or this guy?
