I also like how thick the doors are, how it makes the car feel safer. (Helps compensate for the poor handling and visibility that lead to collisions.)
FYI, she's not elderly. She has pain issues. (So do I - funny how comfy I find the car. Edit: I keep forgetting that I use a special foam back support, although short drives without are fine.) Also, I made it clear I wanted her opinion. Regular, needless complaining would not be tolerated.Last edited by clovenhooves; 01-18-2011 at 10:25 AM.

I have never seen a problem with the passenger hump only when first entering/exiting the car, and even then it's not that big of a hindrance. While sitting in the seat, I don't see how it could be of any annoyance, unless you sit with your legs at a 90 degree angle, which is just completely annoying in the car regardless of the hump.

Here's something fun to do for those with the lumbar support seats in their T/A. Look underneath the driver's seat and disconnect the vacuum line going to it from the passengers seat. Now your driver's side lumbar/bolster controls will affect the passengers side. It's fun doing this when there is a female in the passenger seat(the whole seat vibrates).

Oh, I already knew that. Yet I didn't even think that might be an issue. Funny how clueless I was. I admit I was only thinking of the Bird as a showpiece. But no, I didn't do anything corny like drive fast to show off.

my gf is usually the voice of reason when I street race.
she tells me when to slow down or enough is enough.
otherwise i get greedy and want to kick everyones ass that revs at me.
Its actually a good thing. Since I have dated her no tickets!!!

Passenger hump is terrible in my third gen, is it as bad in the 4th gens or better?
My passenger seat has a wire from the frame poking out the edge. Tore a couple of my ex's pants lol.
Also no visor mirrors so she stole the rear view mirror to do some look-at-herself girl bullshit. I wonder what's more important, that, or navigational visibility? derp.
Anyone taller than 6'0" was extremely uncomfortable in the front passenger seat.
Anyone taller than 5'6" was extremely uncomfortable in the backseat.
Also I got a lot of comments like "What's that noise" and "is that supposed to happen?"
Front speakers are normal while the back speakers are deafening on the same volume setting.

There should be a high-maintenance test. Does the woman look in the mirror on her first few rides?
