Thanks guys, this information is pretty much exactly what I needed.
"LT headers, y-pipe, catback, PnP TB, lid, SFCs, LS6 intake, high stall torque converter, remove/delete the EGR and A.I.R. systems, and a Frost tune. Super reliable and easy mods"
With those done, what do you think the added rwhp would be? Maybe how much time off of a 1/4 mile?Last edited by WS6Dream; 01-07-2011 at 09:03 PM. Reason: Failed quoting lol

should take you to the high 12 sec 1/4mile at around 105 to 108ish mph. Should add anywhere from 20 to 30 rhwp. Some get more, some get less. Quarter mile time/mph is a better indicator of performance gains, then a dyno number

Black- 2000 WS6 6spd Hooker LT
Have you had a fast car like this before?
The car will be as reliable as how you drive it. Nothing stupid like neutral drops, endless donuts on dry pavement, revving over 6100 with stock internals. Just drive it smoothly and it will last.
The LS1 is a hugely reliable piece, but the differential not so much. Some have blown up the diff on stock power, others needed drag radials to do it, others have been running 11s on it!
Lots of good advice above about mods.
