i don't like the fact that they gave them super human sense of smell.... as if all the yuk would wash off after a little rain shower... jeez, would take quite a few showers with soap to get that rot off you. /nitpick

for anyone that can get past the fact that it is an anime should watch high school of the dead. the walking dead is pretty cool for the bit that i've watched and both shows are very early as far as production goes. both are more realistic zombies as opposed to the multiple mentioned super zombies. but high school of the dead has come across the multiple groups that dont see eye to eye on a couple occasions. not to mention the first episode was started great very out of the ordinary.

very cool show

set the dvr to record the series....

its similiar in the book "a second after" minus the zombies, and emp in the book. The survival aspect is similiar.

I like it, second episode wasn't so great.

I felt like his wife was a whore, but hey, maybe he was out for a year and was being nursed back to health. She must have never found out about his accident, cuz the out break happened. She probably thought he was dead.

Yeah I've been wondering about that. Is it that she was cheating beforehand with the guy, or that after all the craziness and thinking she had lost her husband that she fell into it with this guy? The former is whorish, the latter is human needing companionship in a world gone crazy...

I think it was after the outbreak, because when they start to bang in the woods she still has her ring around her neck and they stop for a moment when he sees it, and she then takes it off. So im guessing after the zombie outbreak

That's the other thing, how the hell did his friends and family forget about him being in the hospital? They knew he was there it showed his partner bringing him those flowers in the vase. If some zombie shit broke out and I had a helpless friend in a coma i'd make a B line straight there. Hopefully they tie up that huge hole in the story.
