Navy Blue Metallic- 2000 T/A Firehawk M6
Is the IROC still stationary because of the EEPROM? what else does it need? i seriously think we need to make it a board mission to get that thing moving.

He stated he needed an EEPROM for it once but that they are damn near impossible to come by or something like that. I never bothered looking into it to verify that claim. I'd like to know what it needs and seeing if we have enough parts laying around to collectively make that thing move on it's own power. because the body looks nice.... it deserves to run

If you're referring to Iroc's Camaro.. Last I seen it was in a thousand pieces with no hope of returning.. I have a feeling he no longer has the car due to all that was wrong with it and it's high mileage.. Pretty much a trailer park lawn ornament.. He's even funny outside AAG..
jk

Initially it was garaged because some kids threw a brick through the hatch glass.
After the hatch glass was repaired, shortly after the head gasket blew. It was garaged for months while awaiting replacement. We finally replace it and take it for a test drive.
Promptly after returning from the test drive and shutting the engine off, coolant erupted from under the hood. Disheartened, we rolled it into the garage and it sat for awhile.
Later on down the road (lol, not literally
), we begin tearing down the engine again to replace the head gaskets again (Because we were under the assumption that it was in fact the head gasket that blew. Sad story.). We replace the gaskets, heads, and as I'm tightening the last bolt at the back of the passenger side head, I feel wetness on my knuckles.
Turns out, it wasn't the head gasket, but instead a $5, 30 minute replacement, pos coolant hose that had ruptured. So we replaced that too.
Now, it's all back together as it should be! It should start right up now, yeah? No. After hundreds of dollars worth of replacement parts, troubleshooting, and trial & error, it seems as though I have a mysterious electrical problem that originates from the EPROM malfunctioning and in turn making the ECM unable to properly direct the engine as to what to do to run. Multiple people have had this problem, including I believe another person who posts in the AAG, I can't recall who at the moment though.
As it stands we're gonna dick around hardwiring some stuff to see if we can get it to at least fire without starter fluid, but most likely we'll end up parting it out and throwing away the skeleton. So, I guess check out ebay, craigslist, third gen forums in the near future if you need some parts or whatever. Or PM me.
lol
The picture with all the parts laid out infront of it was during the head gasket replacement, it's all back together now
