I'm sure someone here will be able to talk you through the repair process.

lol..i just thought i would offer that possibility as most people mess it up after intake installs and over time gets pushed off the fitting

dont think so seeing as the car is always in the garage....and the line your talking about is the one behind the manifold?

If the vacuum line was disconnected, you won't be able to switch the airflow modes from floor to dash to defrost. you can still change the temp from hot to cold since that runs off a old school cable.

I'll keep it simple. Your symptoms sound exactly like the vacuum line is disconnected.

ok so i fucked around with it today and didnt get anywhere what so ever lol

when the 5 main (5 on the dash facing you) vents work, all the other vents are not blowing air soooo im guessing that means its working for that time being the right way

99.99% of the time all the other vents are blwoing air (doesnt matter the setting) they all blow air BUT the 5 main dont and thats when its NOT working right

the 5 main vents work when they want lol i have looked at everything i could and could not fine anything wrong

does anyone has a pic or how-to for the line that goes in back of the manifold?? and if that was out would if do what its doing OR would the vents not work at all??

Did you check to see if there were any other lines which were disconnected?

Most likely they won't. I know on my car, the knob can be set to have air blown at your face, face and feet, feet, defog. Trying to remember what the 4th gens settings are.

yep the same with the 4th gen setting.....NOW when the main vents are not working its doesnt matter what setting i put it on, air comes out of all the vents BUT the main ones, when this happens the only thing i can control is the ac on or off,

when it does work, god willing, the main vents work BUT if i go change the setting then it gets all fucked up again (i think) and when that happens all the vents will start blowing air BUT the main ones lol
