The GTO vid brings back some memories. One of my buddy's dad had a 67 GTO, 400/TH400, 3.55 gears with the Hurst dual gate shifter. This would've been around 1970/71 so the car wasn't that old.

Well my friend worked at a gas station. He'd "borrow" pops car, fill it up with "Hi-test" (105 octane at the time), bump up the timing, lace up the Atlas tires Bucron stickies and we'd take it out racing at Lion's for $$$.

He never lost in a "stock-to-stock" race.
