Speaking of microbrews...anyone know of any good ones out here in the VA/NC area? I'm from Colorado, and we're like the microbrew capital of the world, I miss that. I like any and all beer, unless it's Natural Ice (bad experience).

Yea, like SailorZ28 says, Colorado is loaded with great micros, but as far as regular production, I have to agree with BillyT (as much as it kills me), Samual Adams is my choice.

Not sure how far they distribute it, but have your tried Old Dominion? They make ales & lagers, have a microbrewery in the Ashburn, VA area. Good stuff. That and Sam Adams are my favorites.

Yuengling is good, and I had never had it until I came out here to VA, apparently they don't have any distributors out in CO.

Sam Adams is pretty tasty too.

    I like Guiness/Harp a lot too, heck it's like a meal in a can!

Oh forgot this was a domestic beer thread, sorry. Once I get going on beer I pretty much forget my name.

Ok I like Pabst Blue Ribbon and Icehouse...those are American (I think).
