Rammstein might be one of the few bands I desire to still see. I've seen quite a few of my favorites.
LS1.com trip to Deutschland, who is down?

A7X has quickly become my favorite band ever. I honestly didn't really get heavy into them until after hearing of The Revs passing. I just drove from Detroit to Columbus (I've driven further for a concert) and back in a day to see them at the Rockstar Uproar festival (Aug. 24). I thought the sound was kinda shitty. The music was more overpowering than the vocals, but it was a great show. I rocked the fuck out. Haha.
Halestorm and Stone Sour were the 2 main opening bands. Both were pretty decent. There were 5 other bands there that I didn't see or care to see.
Disturbed was "meh" as someone previously stated. They sounded good live, but there was no energy at all. That was my very first time seeing them live, and only my 2nd time seeing A7X. No stops in Detroit so I had to drive down there to see them.
I'm also a big Dream Theater fan, so I was glad that Mike Portnoy didn't hesitate to help the guys from A7X.

Lzzy Hale from Halestorm can sing like no other, don't you agree? Makes those bitches in country music look talentless (which they are).
Yea I don't get why Disturbed has no energy, they are head lining the tour, maybe they should take some time off. I mean they were just on the Music As a Weapon tour.

Yeah, Lzzy can tear it up. Plus she is pretty hot. And shes only like 23 or something, maybe younger. I didn't understand why Disturbed was headlining. I think A7X blows them away. Even though Disturbed has been mainstream for much longer, A7X is bigger. There were more A7X shirts at the show than any other band.

I'm just not understanding how you can go from making songs like this:

To this lame shit, everytime I hear it on the radio I change the station, not a good song at all:

Disturbed really let me down with their new stuff. Avenged Sevenfold on the other hand isn't that bad, for a mainstream band. They have always been pretty good.

I gotta reiterate that I absolutely love every Disturbed album, not necessarily every song, but I haven't listened to the new album much yet. They make some bad ass music that gets you pumped and he dedicated his last album to the troops. I like David Draiman, his voice, he's an alright guy.
But what people don't like about Disturbed is that they are now mainstream, they are everywhere, on the radio all the time and they are basically the nickelback of hard rock or God forbid I ever mention them as a metal band.
It's simple, some people don't like what's mainstream especially the hard core rockers. A7X isn't overplayed on the radio like "fireflies" and "photograph" so people like that shit. I think A7X is pretty decent. I like the drummer and riffs they have, just never got into them as much as other bands, but they put on a great show none the less.
Nothing else explains it why people don't like disturbed, except their music sounds a little repetitive, they got a badass sounding singer, guitar riffs, drums ain't bad and I personally enjoy the bass too. What more can you ask for...

Haven't bought, but heard mixed reviews about the new Rammstein from last year, either you love it or hate it. I haven't bought yet. Though I saw the 3 vids they released so far. Pussy was really cheesy (musically speaking, the video itself was good) the other 2 were alright, kinda plain.

Disturbed's sound did change massively from the first album, I don't mind bands being popular personally
