You can try what I did and talk to any local shops that work on LS cars and when someone brings a LS6 equipped car in for a Fast setup ask them to see if the guy wants to sell the intake. I got one off a 02 TA that went unto a local shop a couple years back for a Fast 90/90 setup and got the intake for $300. The a got a P&P TB off eBay for $100 with trade in and it was a new TB that was done and came with all new sensors. I also like UMI I have the on car adj. Panhard and LCA combo, LCA relocation brackets and a strut tower brace and car felt much better. Also have the Spoon swap bar set and it is like night and day especially with the KYB AGX's and new style BMR springs. Rides and handles great. You'll be happy with any of the mod just depends if you want a few extra HP or better handling and launches.

Check Tech, LS1GTO, pretty much everywhere. I bought my LS6 intake for 280, then found another one locally for No shit, 100$. Perfect working condition, guy sold it to me for 100$. Deals are out there you just have to be patient.

Throttle body is a good choice. The car will feel more responsive to throttle input. On the other hand, you can just get a ported stock one off ebay for around 60$. I would do the throttle body and Subframes. Then next the Relocation brackets and Panhard bar/swaybars when you get some more dough. I did all my suspension stuff before I did anything to the motor. What's the point of having a shitload of power that you cant put to the ground? Just My opinion.

I found one some what local that's for 325 with a P&P TB for another 75 if I want it. I'm going to look at it on Wed. He says is new, never been installed. He got it but then changed his mind and went with a Fast 90/90.

    Thx all for the inputs.

Thats a decent deal, I would try and talk him down to 300. You dont really need to have it ported unless you are intending to increase the displacement on the motor later on. You will gain maybe 3-8 RWHP with stock cubic inches porting the intake.

I agree with many others in this thread. Chassis and drivetrain first. I haven't touched my engine beyond getting an SLP lid and doing the fernco coupling bellows mod and those were more to clean up the look of the bay than for performance. like the tire ads say. Power is nothing without control.

SFCs, STB, LCAs, Springs, Shocks, Drag Bags, End links, Relocation brackets, and sticky tires. That's what i have done to the suspension with more to come before even thinking about adding power.
