The best phones I've ever owned were made by motorola. LG was the worst phone, however I do own a LG tv now

i went through piles of 730's and razr2's. great functions with garbage quality and many software glitches. every single one of my friends had the same problems. oh and the battery couldn't make 8 hours without charging. quite frustrating when you're trying to run a business.

Ok.... since there are too many people commenting i'm just going to make a blanket statement regarding this.

I'm specifically referring to the 2.2 update on the DROID X.... not the old school droid or any other android powered device.

If you check around the web you will see that Motorola has sent cease and desist orders to websites that have the update available for download. It was not to be released... Those of you with Droix X's need to seek out the update online if you want it as it will not be sent to you phones over the air for a few weeks.

My Linpack scores on my X went from 7.8 up to the mid 12's after the update. The phone is MUCH faster smoother and feels more complete. I also noticed an increase in battery life.

Since the update lives on my sd card it's very easy for me to update my friends X's as well. Just insert my memory card and boot to the recovery console. Takes all of 5 minutes to get an X running 2.2 with Flash.

To those of you with X's good luck finding a website still hosting it. I'm sure it's possible.
