    if the pins are bad are they at my local parts store for a fair price or can i not just buy the pins and if i cant get just the pins what would i need to buy and how much it cost?

    Chances are you can use the pins you have. One of mine was rusted in so bad I had to torch it out -- yet I was still was able to re-use it without any issues.

    This... The pins are made of hardened steel, they most likey can be reused so are the pressed in tubes.. After, "unsticking" mine I hit them with a corse wire wheel then a soft one and they still had thier flat spots, cleaning up real well too... I used a corse steel pipe cleaner inside the tubes.. Then, flushed it out with degreaser.. After, I reapplied the heat resistant grease, banging the bracket on the palm of my hand to work the grease down into the tube...

    Yes take the pins out and put them back in with enough lube so they are good for the next 40k miles. Not so much lube that it squeezes out....

    Agree here also.. Just enough to cover the pin then work them in and out a few times to spread it around good on the tube wallss..

    ^^^I love using just enough lube to spread it around good on the walls, workin' it,....covering the "pin" indeed!
