I concur. It sounds like a plan but she's gonna call bullshit. The 408 is mine, the car the boobs and the dog are desires of hers thought I'd have fun with all three. So my new plan is:
Settle for a 383, buy the boobs, get a dog from the pound and make her come up with half the money for the car...j/k. I have no clue what I'm gonna do at this point other than go to sleep and dream about driving a cool car (either way: 408 LSX or Chieftain) with a big boobed hottie and teaching a dog to fetch me beer from the fridge.

what if you show each other how much you both care. she buys you the engine and you buy her the boobs and you each split the cost of the pontiac and the dog.
and then you can show all the rest of us how much you care by posting pics...although few of us care about the car, dog, or engine.

What if I built the 408, bought the dog, boobs and Pontiac and then took a picture to post on here that was the two cars, mine with the hood open exposing the 408 and her petting the dog with no shirt/bra inbetween the two cars?

It's cool for a Mordor, but I wouldn't put the money into a resto, you'll never get it back.
Get it up to mechanical snuff, then rod it a bit with some pinstripes, and maybe spray the white portions of the body satin black, and add wide whites with red steelies.
And a $1500 dog??? Go to the pound and adopt one, it'll cost you arounda hundred bucks.
You can even get a "cool" dog there, my parents got a purebred pitbull from the pound. She's an AMAZING dog, very friendly and loving.

The dog thing is a pain in my ass right now. She wants a dog, kids want a dog but her and 1 kid are allergic so the dog has to be hypoallergenic or whatever. So, of the hypoallergenic breads, I will not have a little dog and I will not have a poodle(large or small). No real man can ride in his Z71 with a poodle in the passenger seat. So the choice came down to her b/c I don't care and she picked a breed called "Native American Indian Dogs" or NIADs for short. There are 2 registered breeders in the nation and they are damn expensive. I've been trying to find one at a shelter but no luck so far.

wait...so she wants something in the house that she and one of the kids are allergic to?! now that's a typical woman. my g/f wants a dog. i'm allergic to dogs. i also don't want a dog in my apartment or yard as i don't allow my tenants to have dogs for the same reasons. i told her no dog until we get a different place later on after college and then if she wants a dog she can get one that must live outside all the time. take it or leave it. she got a cat.
snakes are hypoallergenic. so are hamsters...rats...mice.

Some pounds are pricey around here, I was looking at a Doberman and Greyhound. Both pounds wanted $300 for a 1 year old dog... I went with a puppy and trained him how I wanted (big spoiled baby) for $450. That way I got the joy of him as a puppy. But what dog are you looking for that's $1,500?

my g/f's brother bought his new wife a bulldog puppy before he went on his last iraq deployment 2 years ago. cost him over $1500 for a purebred papers dog. and the damn thing is sick constantly. it has allergies, a weight problem, respiratory and breathing problems...shit...for $100 they could have gotten a friggin mutt that would have been just as good a dog and had way fewer issues.
