How about swaping a cobra motor into a Focus? Now that would be different and a whole lot of fun.

    2002 WS6 Trans Am

The cobra is easy to modify. 500 to 550 hp wwith a few bolt ons and a good tune, but nothing compares to the look of the WS6. You could always install a supercharger on the Trans Am?

I own an 04 Cobra. I have less than a $1000 in mods, and I'm putting 475 to the wheels. Still running pump gas, idles like stock and runs good for a street car. I'm working on the suspension now. Already have full length subframes, Eibach springs and all the irs bushings, strut tower brace and power slot rotors. The 1K I mentioned above is simply a cold air kit, pulley, exhaust and chip. Both cars are nice.

Wanna buy my '01 WS6? It's all set up with an ATI ProCharger, 8 psi, etc, etc......it'll outrun any 'stock' Cobra out there. ohh, and by the way....only 5,900 miles on the clock...

Get the Trans Am. Mustangs are a dime a dozen in my opinion.

Highly modded or not, I was just stating the fact. It's all how you look at it. One has forced induction from the factory and one doesn't. That isn't anyone's fault. Ford did a great job with their '03 - '04 Cobra and GM should've done something to run with it, but didn't. So, I took matters into my own hands to even the playing field by supercharging mine too. So yeah, I'll beat a Cobra that is set up from the factory with a supercharger already. Odds are that it'd beat the before mentioned Cobra with the $1000 bucks stuck into it too. Don't think too hard on it, I won't argue about the "stock" and "modified" bullshit. You have your opinion, I have mine, no problems. Happy hotrodding.

Cobra will be toooooons faster because it has a blower, therefore, its E-z to get cheap horsepower all you need to do to the cobra is a pulley, exhaust, chip, and intake then it has mid 450 rwhp....

then again Trans ams are bad ass, I had one before my z06 and they are fun as hell... Not as easy to make quick horsepower cuz their not blown, but who cares......

If I were you I would get a trans am, c'mon have some GM pride..... ford bites
