Ahh....to have your skills with photoshop...

Which photoshop edition do you have? I have a buddy who is pretty decent with photoshop who keeps telling me that I would have no problem getting proficient. I've watched him do some work and it hasn't looked that difficult. How long did it take you to feel proficient?

I try to keep as up-to-date as possible. My uncle has needed them for his job (doing magazine covers, video games, comic books, and currently a teacher at Full Sale). So he brings his work/school copy ver. home and I swing over and install it . My Latest ver. right now is Photoshop CS2. Probably the best ver. of Photoshop since ver. 6.

Umm I've been using Photoshop since ver. 1.0, sooo about 15 years. I never feel that I'm "proficient", lol. Sometimes I feel I just get lucky when pictures come out looking right. I just try to keep learning as much as I can and keep practicing.

It's not really hard to use. You just need to know how to use the tools and know what does what, and you can do the same. The nice thing about the program is that it can turn anyone into an artist, heh heh!
