Prison/Jail gaurds in here!!!

Most place are 3 on 3 off. unless you are on lock down (facility is all grounded to the tanks) then its mandatory overtime. It would be hard to attend school while working for a prison. Now if you worked for a county jailhouse you should be fine. They try and help you out depending on what you are going for.

Here the state pays for college, if it is job related. They figure you will be a better asset. As for going to school and working at a prison, u might want to wait till after you start at the prison, before you go to school. You might want to wait and see if you want to make it a career or not, you might hate it. dont put to much on your plate at once, it is going to be stressfull enough starting a full time job at the prison, but either way good luck.............................here it is 5 days on and two off a week 7a-3p....3p-11p....11p-7a
