2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
My 1st car was a 54 Chevy wagon with a "3-on-the-tree" and "Armstrong power steering". Took 6+ turns lock to lock. It's what I took my drivers test in. Big car with power nothing...

Wow, I never thought I'd see the day when Dodge Minivans were considered big.
That's comparable to a sport compact coming from my era
Actually, the nova in this thread was considered small when it was new. Abody chevelles, buicks and pontiacs were considered mid size,,,but I guess nowadays people think those are big, lol.

That's how I feel too. Enough room to be comfy but not excessively large to the point it's hard to manuver.
Some of these cars made now are so tiny it's down right scary. Ever see those little 2 seater smart car thingys running around?? Holy Moly I'd hate to get T-boned in one of those

I'm not saying I don't like little cars. Little cars can be a blast. My Alfa is a fun little car for sure. But, nothing beats driving the mid size.
Shoot, I had to drive around a 66 Lincoln for a few weeks. That thing was a huge tank
I was super happy to have my Chevelle back

Ya I like power to weight ratio's too. I ran several little Vegas and Monzas with a nice little 406 for years as daily drivers.
I always like to see little cars with big motors in them. Maybe if they put a V8 in that little Smart thing they'd sell a few more of them
As ugly as they are,,,I think I might have to buy one then

My first car was a 71 Vega. One of my favorite cars still to this day

Awesome project car OP... I wish I had the funds, knowledge, and time to do something like that. It hurts to think how cool would it be to take something like this and turn it into a Death Proof Nova replica...

Never heard of such a thing.
Friend had a Nova in college that we affectionately called "The Iron Pig". It was aptly named.
