Or you could wait and buy a used one even cheaaper when you get ready.. You're lieing if you think you could just leave it sitting for years. Plus you'd have to buy a starter bike too

Well I went and looked/rode the bike today. First off the thing is a beast definitely has plenty of torque. It would take some getting use to. I also love the way you sit on it, its a comfortable position its not all bent over with all your weight on your wrist like a crotch rocket. I think I might pass on this bike overall its not that great of condition, its not tore up or anything but its just showing its age, fading, a little rust on the exhaust, swirls in the paint, some good size chips on the painted wheels . Just little things just they guy won't budge on the price of $4200 with two new tires(yet to be put on) new battery and a buell helmet for another $50. If it was a prestine bike no flaws I might consider it but his asking price is for a prestine 04 and his is not. If he were to take $3500 I'd probably do it. Thanks for the help guys.

I have not ridden in a few years and currently do not have a bike previous bike was an late 80's honda shadow that my dad had given me when he got is new bike. I'm mostly just looking for something to have fun with, you know take out on a nice day and just ride, occasionally back and froth to work if its nice. Mostly looking for a used sport bike under 5 grand. I'm in no great hurry only reason I looked or was interested in the buell was because it was right under my nose and felt I at least needed to take a look.

My brothers both have Buells -- middle brother has an older Thunderbolt which is just an amazing bike. I have ridden it many times and just can't get enough seat time when we go out to visit. Youngest brother has a Lightening that I really don't care for. It's too tall for me and it feels like you are riding on the front wheel.
